The Rare Ould Times

"The Rare Ould Times" is a song composed by Pete St. John in the 1970s for the Dublin City Ramblers. The song tells of the changes that have occurred in Dublin since the 1960s. The song is sung by fans of Dublin GAA teams. The song is often just called "The Rare Old Times" or alternatively "The Rare Auld Times". The song has been sung by many artists such as The Dubliners and Flogging Molly and was first recorded by the Dublin City Ramblers.^[1]
